Narayan Nagbali puja is three-day rituals. There are two types of this Puja. One Narayan Bali Puja and other is Nagbali Puja. Both are performed for two different reasons. Both the poojas are only performed at the Trimbakeshwar Temple in Nashik, Maharashtra.

Narayan Nagbali Puja Vidhi
It takes three days to perform. Please come one day before or early morning till morning on the day of Muhurta, which is given by Guruji/Panditji. If the father is alive, no need to mundan (going bald); else devotee has to be bald if the father has departed.
Before the Pooja, the devotee has to take a holy bath in kushavarta Kund and wear new clothes. It is compulsory to wear new clothes, Dhoti for Men and Saree for women.
Please avoid Black and Green color. Over a period of three days, prescribed Puja vidhi is performed by Trimbakeshwar Temple Purohits.

- Any pregnant woman, until the five-month of pregnancy, can be allowed to do Narayan Nagbali.
- Up to one year after holding a sacred function in the house, people should not do this ritual.

Narayan Nagbali Puja Dates (When I should perform Narayan Nagabli Puja)
The best time to perform this Puja is Pitru Paksha. As per the Nakshatra Panditji/Guruji will give you the dates for Puja. Per month approximately 2/3 muhurtas are there. It is good to perform this ritual during Pitruda Ekadashi.
Particularly it takes place on the banks of the river or any other sacred place. You can also perform this pooja on the 7th day from the no moon day.
